Removing fall out

Clay, before and after

Clay, before and after

There are two main ways to remove fall out. One way is via chemical products that break down the contamination. The second way is known as a clay bar treatment or clay cloth treatment.

The best course of action is to recognise which type of fallout you are dealing, this will then determine what products and methods to use to remove it. Initially, this may be a chemical product. If fallout remains on the vehicle, after this process, the next step is the clay process, be it bar or cloth.

Claying is a time intensive process and is a slightly riskier way of treating the fall out. This method should only be undertaken after chemical fallout products have been used. This is because clay can inflict marring into the paintwork if not done correctly. If this happens, the vehicle will need polishing after to remove the marring.

Fall out removal services can be found on our Gold or Premier Mobile Valets.
