Front and rear dash cams.

At Premier Shine Andover, we can fit both front and rear dash cams to your vehicle. Book your dash cam fitting from as little as £50.00 for single (front), £70.00 for double (front and rear). If your dash cam does not come with a hard wire kit, we can provide these for an additional cost of £15. (Please note, those that require constant power, will need to be purchased by yourself) Please let us know in advance when you book it if it is required.

We can supply a dash camera if you require. This is an app based camera with superb 2.5k QHD imagery, 3" screen, inbuilt battery, night vision, parking guard, collision lock and wifi.

Important information.

First and foremost, I must be left alone whilst installing, vehicles have complex electronics and I cannot be distracted whilst installing!

We fit all types of dash cam - both front and rear. We will need your vehicle keys plus access to your vehicle during the fitting, including space to open doors.

Things to know.

Most Dash Cam’s do not come with a hard wiring kit or a memory card, please check this before purchasing. We can supply hard wiring kits at cost. You will need to purchase your manufacturers Hard wire kit if your camera has a ‘parking guard’ and no viewing screen. Example, Road Angel Halo Pro.

Some Dash Camera or more specifically, the rear camera can interfere with DAB signal.

Generally the front camera is absolutely fine as are the more premium brands such as Nextbase, Road Angel, Thinkware etc. It’s usually the good value for money brands such as Orskey, iiwey and Apeman etc where the problem is. (Front and rear camera’s under £100) They are great kits and are absolutely fine if you are going for the front only option or don’t have D.A.B radio.

We can fit camera’s that are permanently live, that should shut down when it senses a voltage drop, but sometimes the wiring or camera can be faulty and drain the battery, if this happens, I am not responsible for battery drain.

Rear camera’s that double up as a reversing camera, please note we will not wire up the reverse wire. In some cases it cannot be done and with most of these camera’s they are the ones that interfere with DAB signal. Again, with most modern vehicles, they come with DAB as standard.
